More than 1,900 colleges and universities give advanced standing or credit based upon the DSST, with the minimum score for eligibility established by each academic institution.

For more information, contact your local college registrar or academic advisor to substantiate their requirements for offering DSST credits.

How Does the DSST Help You?  With a passing score, you can earn up to three college credits per DSST examination taken.  What does that mean?

Taking a DSST rather than attending college classes will help you save on tuition as you gain a head start on earning your degree.

You will also get the sense of accomplishment by showing what you have learned outside the halls of academia.

A dysfunctional family is a family in which conflict, abuse, or misbehavior, by individual family members takes place on a continuing basis, leading other members of the family to perpetuate, enable, and reinforce such behaviors. Often, children grow up in dysfunctional families with the belief that such behaviors and ways of relating are "normal."

Where Can you Take the DSST?

As stated above, more that 1,900 colleges and universities offer DSST examinations.  In addition, DSST exams are offered on more than 560 military installations by the DANTES Test Control Officer (TCO), who is usually the Education Services Officer or Navy College Advisor for the respective military installation.  In fact, approximately 150,000 DSST exams are administered annually to military personnel.

If drinking alcohol is going to affect your ability to have children, not to mention the negative health consequences that alcohol presents to the woman who will be having the child, why not simply abstain from drinking alcohol while you are trying to have a child, while the mother is carrying the child, and while the mother is breast feeding the child.
